We recompiled and updated PHP on all servers. Now PHP have following new features:

• Correct "400 Not Found" error processing.
• Full "HTTP authentication" support in PHP-scripts (more info).
• Sockets PHP extension support (more info).

World expansion of ISPserver is continuing. In August, 2003 another datacenter and office were opened in the heart of Germany. Its now located in Frankfurt. Because of security problem Samba was updated to the version 2.2.8

Because of previous sendmail version vulnerabilities that allow hackers take a root access on your vds, this mail server was updated up to version 8.12.8.

The new 1.3.26 version of the Apache server was instaled on all VDS.

The new 1.3.24 version of the Apache server and Frontpage Extensions 2002 was instaled on all VDS.

Samba is a service that allow user to access to VDS directly from Windows Desktop.
All you need is to create a samba account on the VDS and then configure Windows to access remotely the VDS as if it was mounted on your Windows PC.
This will allow you to transfer files using drag and drop facility.
